Beyond the idea of custom.

In the olden days the idea of a custom home was very different from what it is today. Custom home was really meant to house the government offices of the time, like what we have today, the mini civil stations. A number of government offices were housed in a single building and thus reducing the toil on both the part of the needy as well as on the part of officials as well. Custom houses were built either at a harbor or in a city owing to the convenience of the transportation. Water was one of the fastest and convenient means of transportation in those times and hence the custom houses were built at the harbor and with the introduction of railways and air travel, it not only herded the water as the slowest means but rather led to shifting of the custom houses to the cities.

Today but the notion about the custom houses has completely changed. The features of the custom house is imbibed and is led to make a new design which may reflect almost all the features of the custom house and yet will not the same at the same time. The large rooms, extensive corridors, huge doors, brawny walls and a classic look are some of the features of the custom houses.

Thus to build a New Custom Home Builder has to be utmost careful to bring almost all the features, but in a limited area. The area has been limited today, taking the affordability of the consumer into consideration. The expensiveness not only lies in the design of the builder but also in the materials used. Thus the suggestion of the builder is always valuable. The limiting of the space curtails the freedom of the builder and also makes the work a bit risky as to bring the features of the custom house intact. Not only the outer look but he has to maintain the spacing inside. The custom houses which use to be built in thousands of square feet, has been restricted with the increase in the land value. Thus it can be put as everyone can’t live in the White House but instead can create the atmosphere to a minor extent.
